Beauty Tips
Keep it Conditioned
To cut down on split-ends, have it trimmed on a regular basis and hydrate your hair with conditioner to keep it in tip-top shape. Leave the conditioner in for several minutes to give it a chance to absorb. If your hair needs more attention, apply a hot-oil treatment once a week. Don't overuse the treatments because too much of it can cause hair to become dull and lifeless.
Give Your Hair a Rest
Our hair takes a beating with all of the styling appliances and products that we use on an everyday basis. Avoid using a hair dryer and let it dry naturally. If you must use a dryer, keep it on the coolest setting and use a diffuser.
Cut down on curling iron use and opt for hot rollers when you insist on curls. This is a gentler approach for luscious, wavy tresses. To prevent scorching, don't spray your hair with hairspray before using any heated appliances.
Avoid weighing down your hair with numerous styling products. They can dry out your hair and take away the shine. Stick to one or two products, and use them sparingly. Over time, your hair will adjust and it will take less effort to pull off your desired results.
Styling Products for Shine
Test a few styling products designed to make your hair shiny. After washing it, pour some hair gel or leave-in conditioner in the palm of your hand and gently rub it in. Distribute it more heavily on the middle and ends than you do the roots so your hair doesn't appear dirty or oily.

KEEP YOUR HAIR SHINY & HEALTY
Color your hair often
To keep your hair color looking great, you really need to color or highlight it every six weeks--and if you are using red dyes, you might even need to do so as often as four weeks. (Red dyes fade faster than other colors because they are more sensitive to the detergents in shampoos.)

Don't shampoo right after

Don't shampoo at all for 24 hours right before coloring your hair. If you hair is slightly oily, the dye will better adhere to your hair and last longer.

Don't shampoo every day

Your color will fade more quickly if you shampoo daily. Most of us are in the habit of shampooing every day, but for most of us, our hair doesn't really need it. You can rinse your hair with cool water every morning and condition the ends if you need to do so. However, when it comes to protecting the hair strands, you should try to shampoo every other day rather than daily.

Use a color enhancing shampoo

When you do wash your hair, use a shampoo that will care for your color the way you want. If your hair color tends to get brassy, use a violet-based color enhancing shampoo and conditioner. The violet hues will combat the gold and orange brassy undertones that many women hate.
COLOR TREATMENT
Extensions
Do’s and Don’t’s
DO Brush your hair extensions on a regular basis to ensure they do not matt
DO Ensure you thoroughly rinse all traces of shampoo and conditioner after washing your hair
DO Invest in a good extension brush and an extension detangling comb
DO Be extremely gentle with your extensions at all times
DO Keep extensions tied up during swimming (both pool and sea) , if you do get your hair wet you must ensure you rinse out any chlorine or sea water as soon as possible as they can cause your extensions to dry out, in the same way they dry out your own natural hair.
DO Tie your extensions back at night, preferably a loose braid or pony tails to minimize any tangles in the morning.
DON’T tie your hair back to tightly, this can pull on the bonds causing them to weaken.
DONT put conditioner onto the roots of your hair
DON’T use any of the following:- TRESEMME, ANTI-DANDRUFF SHAMPOOS, VOLUME SHAMPOO or HEAD LICE TREATMENTS, these are extremely harsh and can cause damage to the bonds of your extensions causing them to loosen.
